Salkhit Wind Park ProjectLadies and Gentlemen,Esteemed delegates and guests,I am pleased to announce that the Ministry of Energywill be organizing "Energy Mongolia - <strong>2013</strong>," an internationalconference and expo, to be held on 24-26 May <strong>2013</strong>with a goal to present the government's long-term plan onthe future development of Mongolia's energy sector to bothdomestic and international businesses as well as investors.The newly formed government has committed to meet ever-increasingdemands of energy consumption in Mongolia,to expand its current production of energy, and to supportthe development of renewable energy industry. We have recently started collaborationwith private companies on major forward-looking projects including the development ofthe Thermal Power Station V, the Salkhit Wind Power Plant, expansion of the ThermalPower Station IV and Amgalan Thermal Power Station. We expect that a number ofmajor projects will begin within the next few years including power stations of Baganuur,Tavantolgoi and Khotgor.
