In the event of a tie, a countback over the last round will decide thewinner.**ChampionshipsTrophies donated by : Strategic Wealth Planning – Brendan KellyThere are four grades contested in the Ladies <strong>Club</strong> Championships and two events run in conjunctionwith them.SGC <strong>Club</strong> Championship (Matt Dunstan Cup)Open to all Lady Members“B” Grade Championship (E.D.Guyatt Cup)“C” Grade Championship (E.Nankervis Cup)“ D” Grade Championship (Purdey’s Hourglass Jewellers Cup)All Lady Members are eligible to enter the Open Division. B,C and D Grades will be fromhandicaps 19-45. On the day before the first stroke round the Match Committee will assessthe handicaps of the entrants and ensure that there is a balanced number in each of the threegrades. The handicaps for the three grades will be announced before the first round and willstay the same for all rounds. The Match Committee reserves the right to alter the handicapsections each year. Should a player from a lower grade qualify for the Open Event that playerhas the option of contesting the Open Championship.All Qualifying, Semi-final and Final Rounds must be played from the Medal Marks.All Championship Divisions will be played over TWO Qualifying Stroke Scratch rounds.The FOUR top qualifiers will compete for the SGC Ladies Championship. Ties for the first threepositions will be decided by countback – ties for the fourth place will be decided by a three hole playoffover holes 10, 11 and 12.There will be FOUR qualifiers in B, C and D Grades – ties will be decided by countback.The Final of the SGC Ladies’ Championship is 36 hole Matchplay. All other Finals and Semi-finalsare18 hole Matchplay. If the score is square, all matches continue hole by hole until a decision isreached.There are two events run in conjunction with the first two rounds of the <strong>Club</strong> Championships which areplayed as follows:-Ties are decided by countback over the second round and Handicaps remain as at the beginning of thefirst round.**Aggregate Handicap TrophyTrophy donated by Annie McCrabbThe winner will be the player with the lowest nett aggregate score after the two qualifying rounds.14
