Installation rulesInstallation of adaptors for 37° flared tube to ISO 8434-2Installation1- Deburr the pipe inside and outside, do not chamfer. Clean the tube end, otherwise the sealing surface ofthe tube will be damaged when it is flared.2- Slide the nut and the flare sleeve over the tube.3- Flare the tube by means of flaring tools or a flaring machine. The flare diameter DB must not exceed thelimits given in the table. The flare cone must be square to the tubular axis and be concentric to the collar. The inner cone must be clean and free of burrs.4- Screw the retaining nut onto the coupling body fingertight. Tighten the nut with a spanner1/4 to max. 1/2 turn, or with a torque wrench, to the values shown in the following table.Determining tube length223For calculating the overall tube length, you should add length X to the required length - this corresponds tothe insertion of the coupling cone in the flare part of the tube.
