PRAIRIELAND’S <strong>2013</strong> CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMIn 2008 <strong>Prairieland</strong> embarked on a new project that focuses on community involvement. The Community Partnership programfeatures <strong>Prairieland</strong> <strong>Park</strong> working with one community organizaon throughout the year to create awareness of their servicesas well as provide opportunies for fund-raising for the organizaon. The Community Partner will have a presence at all<strong>Prairieland</strong> events.THE <strong>2013</strong> PRAIRIELAND COMMUNITY PARTNER IS:Cosmopolitan Industries offers day programs for adults with intellectual disabilies in Saskatoon. As much as is possible, dayprograms are focused on vocaonal acvies which challenge capabilies and build self-esteem. Cosmo’s goal is to enhancethe quality of life for each of their 400 program parcipants so they all may live a beer, more producve and more meaningfullife. Best known for being the pioneers of recycling in the city, Cosmo also hasa cerfied confidenal document destrucon operaon and provides variousservices for businesses through our Contracts division. By providing thenecessary supports, parcipants make a contribuon to their neighbours inSaskatoon through their efforts and dedicaon. Oen described as the “Miracleon 34th Street,” they explore ways for adults with intellectual disabilies to befully engaged in the vibrant life of our city. Senior 4-H members (14-21 years) are eligiblefor the full conference and Juniors (10-13 years) aend one day of theconference with their own acvies. The criteria includes individual andgroup acvies with the focus on leadership and communicaon.<strong>Prairieland</strong> <strong>Park</strong> is proud to introducethe PARK TOWN HOTEL AS THENEWEST CORPORATE PARTNER, ANDOFFICIAL HOTEL, beginning <strong>January</strong>1st, <strong>2013</strong>.
