The <strong>ITS</strong> <strong>Master</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> document is divided in the following sections:Section 2. Project Phases: This section presents a greater level <strong>of</strong> detail on short-term projects bycategorizing them into deployable phases that include the intersections and corridors included ineach phase.Section 3. Near-Term Deployment Strategies: This section details each near-term phase includinga detailed list <strong>of</strong> intersections, devices to deploy, and cost estimates.Section 4. Project Costs: This section presents the cost estimates for each phase detailed inSection 3 – Deployment Strategies.Section 5. Traffic Management Center (TMC): This section presents the equipment that the <strong>City</strong>will need to fully utilize the <strong>ITS</strong> system outlined in this plan. For future reference, the recommendedlayouts and furniture requirements have also been included in this section.Section 6. <strong>City</strong>wide Communications: This section presents a preliminary Gigabit Ethernetbackbone network that could be implemented to provide a high-bandwidth, redundantcommunications system for the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxnard</strong>.Section 7. Next Steps: This section presents a summary <strong>of</strong> this report and the subsequent activitiesto be completed by the <strong>City</strong>.Appendix A. SEMP: This section presents the Systems Engineering <strong>Master</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> prepared insupport <strong>of</strong> the <strong>ITS</strong> <strong>Master</strong> <strong>Plan</strong> project.Appendix B. Existing Conditions: This section presents the Existing Conditions TechnicalMemorandum prepared in Task 2 <strong>of</strong> this project in support <strong>of</strong> the <strong>ITS</strong> <strong>Master</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>. It is included asan appendix to provide background project information.
