The Champion • Wednesday 17 April 2013Student earnsPM’s approvalReport by Ollie CowanSTUDENT who gives up his spare time to workwith disabled athletes has earned specialrecognition from David Cameron.Keegan Shard, who is currently studyingsports development at Edge Hill University,works as a voluntary coach of disabledsportspeople.And his efforts have earned him the respect pfthe Prime Minister and an award from No.10Downing Street.Keegan has first–hand experience of thedifficulties faced by the disabled.He said: “I have a sister and two brothers.
