The request from <strong>in</strong>dividual customers should be received by CSR for New Group creation andaddition of old /New nos <strong>in</strong> the group. The necessary SIM, FRC, TOPUP amount are to be collectedby the CSR without fail for new customers. All exist<strong>in</strong>g commercial formalities with respect to SIMare to be adhered to along with CAF entry by CSC .2. The group of customers of Govt./PSU/Private/Corporate organasations/ schools/ Hospitals/etc., etc.,may be advised to come through EB Cell of SSA and any CSC <strong>in</strong> SSA, as desired by the EB Cellwill be authorised by Sancharsoft for the New <strong>CUG</strong> group creation. Range of numbers for thesenew customers for creation of <strong>CUG</strong> group will be allotted by DE, Commercial, Coimbatore onreceipt of letter from EB Cell, SSA and the numbers will be made available <strong>in</strong> the CSR throughSancharsoft.3. In case of above said New customers, normal procedure of activation <strong>in</strong> Sancharsoft like Virg<strong>in</strong> SimRs.20/- and FRC Rs.42/- for V<strong>in</strong>adi spl and Rs.48/- for all @49spl should be made. The <strong>in</strong>itial talkvalue the new customer gets on activation = TU110-10.3% S.Tax- <strong>CUG</strong> rent (Rs80 or Rs60)4. For creation of New <strong>CUG</strong> Group <strong>in</strong> Sancharsoft: Go to <strong>Prepaid</strong> Menu-><strong>Prepaid</strong> <strong>CUG</strong>. Under <strong>CUG</strong>Group Creation Option, Create the group by enter<strong>in</strong>g the details required after gett<strong>in</strong>g the requestletter for Group creation <strong>in</strong> writ<strong>in</strong>g from the pr<strong>in</strong>ciple customer who is authorised to enrole thegroup. First, <strong>CUG</strong> ID will be created <strong>in</strong> the Sancharsoft. While creat<strong>in</strong>g the Group itself thispr<strong>in</strong>ciple customer’s number will be added <strong>in</strong> the Group.5. For subsequent additions of users <strong>in</strong> the <strong>CUG</strong> group, after gett<strong>in</strong>g the request , Go to <strong>Prepaid</strong> Menu-><strong>Prepaid</strong> <strong>CUG</strong>. Under <strong>CUG</strong> user creation, enter the Group ID to which the users are to be added andadd the users.<strong>CUG</strong> for exist<strong>in</strong>g customers:7. Exist<strong>in</strong>g customers under different <strong>plan</strong>s will be brought either to v<strong>in</strong>adi spl or all@49 spl <strong>plan</strong>with 180 days valitidy, accord<strong>in</strong>g to their requirement <strong>in</strong> writ<strong>in</strong>g. After obta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g request letterfrom the customer, they can either be added to the exist<strong>in</strong>g group or allowed to form a new group.Their FNF will be restricted to TWO and all the STVs availed by the customers will be carriedforward even after form<strong>in</strong>g the grp for that particular customer.8. <strong>CUG</strong> validity shall be fixed as 30/31days(calendar month based) from the date of enrolment for the allthe customers and the rent of Rs 80 or Rs60 will be deducted upfront only. If sufficient balance <strong>in</strong>customer’s account is available, <strong>CUG</strong> will be provided.

While <strong>in</strong> <strong>CUG</strong> grp, he will enjoy the <strong>CUG</strong> facilities and also the 1ps/sec(v<strong>in</strong>adi spl) or all@49 spl<strong>plan</strong> facilities with sufficient balance <strong>in</strong> his account. If <strong>CUG</strong> rental failure occurs (due to <strong>in</strong>sufficientbalance <strong>in</strong> the account) and if his <strong>plan</strong> validity does not exist, he will be pushed to GP1.Hence , the subscribers may be advised to keep his ma<strong>in</strong> <strong>plan</strong> validity <strong>in</strong>tact always withsufficient balance for <strong>CUG</strong> rent deduction.If any of the group member is not hav<strong>in</strong>g sufficient balance <strong>in</strong> his account, for advance rent for thatmonth, system will wait for the next 3 consecutive days for at least the amount equal to the rentalcomponent and deduct the amount. If deduction is not possible, the customer group id will beremoved and subs cannot enjoy <strong>CUG</strong> benefits and subs will be treated like a normal customer <strong>in</strong> theparent <strong>plan</strong> ((i.e 1ps/sec(v<strong>in</strong>adi spl) or all @49spl.10. a) <strong>CUG</strong> group size shall be checked at the end of the month , by TRY IN off l<strong>in</strong>e. Accord<strong>in</strong>gly therent will be deducted , on l<strong>in</strong>e, on next day (i.e 1 st day of subsequent month.) The rent componentwill be changed as per the exist<strong>in</strong>g group size.b) If a new customer jo<strong>in</strong>s the group, after the first day of the calendar month, he will be charged upfrontacc. to the size of the group he has jo<strong>in</strong>ed..If there is any change <strong>in</strong> the group size from grp1 to grp2because of his addition, the rent will be deducted for the new customer only as per the changedgroup size. The new grp size <strong>CUG</strong> rent is applicable for rest of the subs <strong>in</strong> the group only from thenext calendar month..Note:11. If an ex-member of the <strong>CUG</strong> group wants to rejo<strong>in</strong> the group, he may give SMS to 53733, <strong>in</strong>dicat<strong>in</strong>ghis Group ID as given below<strong>CUG</strong> <strong>CUG</strong> ID (<strong>in</strong> 5digits) .On check<strong>in</strong>g the balance amount, TRY IN will allow him <strong>in</strong>to the group.12. Rent for <strong>CUG</strong> service will be calendar based irrespective of the enroll<strong>in</strong>g date.13. NO NEGATIVE balance is allowed for these <strong>CUG</strong> numbers.14. If any member of the <strong>CUG</strong> is on ROAMING, the roam<strong>in</strong>g charges will as per the <strong>plan</strong> and no freecalls are allowed with<strong>in</strong> <strong>CUG</strong>.1. All the customers <strong>in</strong> a <strong>CUG</strong> group should be <strong>in</strong> the same prepaid-<strong>plan</strong> only; either 1p/sec spl (V<strong>in</strong>adi spl)or All@49spl2. All the customers <strong>in</strong> <strong>CUG</strong> groups will be <strong>in</strong>timated through SMS about the facility & monthly deductionof talk value so that sufficient balance of talk value is available for extension on monthly basis.
