The educators, all of whom female, come from the refugeegroup. The association connected the village to a mains drinking water supplychannelling the water from the river to the village, stimulating the creation ofa microeconomy (bakery, pizzeria) run by women.In 2001 she helped found the Mamre no-profit association founded by FrancescaVallarino GanciaIn 2007 she helped set up the Associazione Volontariato Cottolenghino Onlus(Cottolengo Voluntary Association NPO) (February 2007), registered on thenational NPO register in March 2007.
