The guaranteeextension conditions are available at www.rovasi.comSo, the quality of our products is translated into security andpeace of mind once the project has been completed.After strict temperature checks, all our LED products arebelow the maximum Tc indicated by the manufacturers of LEDmodules, offering a highly efficient product and ensuring a longlife for the LED.PASSIVE TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENTThe LED modules are highly heat labile, and are easily damaged by the heat produced during light emission. That is why the thermalenergy must be dissipated efficiently, in order to ensur the long lifetime of the module.All ROVASI LED luminaires include passive heat dissipation systems giving interesting advantages:• They avoid the noise that may be produced by active systems.• They do not require extra energy consumption.• They guarantee the same lifetime as the LED module.These are the three dissipation systems applied in our fittings:• Heatpipes: this is a system based on the evaporation/condensation (two phase heat exchanger) of the liquid that is incontinuous circulation inside the pipes. It particularly provides interesting advantages such as low weight, easy installation andhorizontal position. (e.g. ATOMIC, FOCUS, WATERTIGHT).• Heat sink: this has been designed especially so that the central block distributes the heat outwards quickly, via the fins. Theradial-design body maximises the contact area with the cooling medium surrounding it – the air. Anodised 6063 aluminiumstructure (e.g. SHALLOW / ACTIVO)• Fixture body design: the fixture designs ensure the heat cooling. ALUMINIUM OPTICS RANGETo achieve different opening angles, at ROVASI’s technicaldepartment we are working on five different types of reflectorfinish. In this way, we manage to cover the following openingangles.It is very important that the reflectors are highly efficient, do notcause colour changes, allow uniform lighting distribution andensure a high level of visual comfort.Beam angle types:10º - 19º: spot - SP20º-29º: narrow flood: NFL30º-39º: flood: FL40º-69º: wide flood: WFL>70º: very wide flood: VWFLAsymmetrical light distribution:POLAR DIAGRAM AND ISOLUXIn the catalogue the following photometric details of the luminaires are available: beam angle, LOR, UGR and their polar or isoluxcurves.Polar curve, is a graph showing how luminous intensity valuesvary with increasing angles from the imaginary axis of theluminaire. The unit of light intensity is Candela (cd).Isolux diagram represents illuminance distributions, where asingle reference plane is shown with contours superimposed.The contours provide the points of equal illuminance, infootcandles or lux, on the floor or wall plane, from a specificstated mounting position. The diagram can be used to assessthe distribution characteristics of the luminaire in additionto determining lighting levels.
