ALUMINIUM OPTICS RANGETo achieve different opening angles, at ROVASI’s technicaldepartment we are working on five different types of reflectorfinish. In this way, we manage to cover the following openingangles. It is very important that the reflectors are highly efficient, do notcause colour changes, allow uniform lighting distribution andensure a high level of visual comfort.Beam angle types:10º - 19º: spot - SP20º-29º: narrow flood: NFL30º-39º: flood: FL40º-69º: wide flood: WFL>70º: very wide flood: VWFLAsymmetrical light distribution:POLAR DIAGRAM AND ISOLUXIn the catalogue the following photometric details of the luminaires are available: beam angle, LOR, UGR and their polar or isoluxcurves.Polar curve, is a graph showing how luminous intensity valuesvary with increasing angles from the imaginary axis of theluminaire. The unit of light intensity is Candela (cd).Isolux diagram represents illuminance distributions, where asingle reference plane is shown with contours superimposed. The contours provide the points of equal illuminance, infootcandles or lux, on the floor or wall plane, from a specificstated mounting position. The diagram can be used to assessthe distribution characteristics of the luminaire in additionto determining lighting levels. The luminaire is positionedcentrallyabove (0,0) of the grid and all distances on the grid arein metres. For further information you can download the technical details of the references from the www.rovasi.com website. There you willalso find the EULUMDAT and IES files and those for calculating lighting with the main lighting programs.GENERAL INFORMATION97
