Ponds owners/lessee would be provide fingerlings inadequate numbers to stock their ponds. In first two years it would be theresponsibility <strong>of</strong> the lessees/societies to raise the production level upto 3tonnes/ha/yr. The cost <strong>of</strong> the fingerlings given to a beneficiary would be taken thatnext year be<strong>for</strong>e issuing the Parwana <strong>for</strong> fishing. In case <strong>of</strong> private farmers therewould be a different method <strong>of</strong> collecting the cost <strong>of</strong> fingerlings given to them.17.4 Transfer <strong>of</strong> money:farmer would be given required no. <strong>of</strong> fingerlings @ 5000 fingerlings perha water areathe cost on seeds (@ 50 paise per fingerling) would be given to him asloan, by chequethe cheque will be in favour <strong>of</strong> the seed grower and the District FisheriesOfficer as Escrow Account Payee from where the farmer will collect seedsthe settlee <strong>of</strong> a pond after receiving the number <strong>of</strong> fingerlings requiredwill hand over the cheque to the fish seed grower110
