MARKING,IDENTIFICATION,CODINGPLASTIC-INKSPlastic-inks is composed of microporous plastic material in which the ink isinjected during the manufacturing process. This material diffuses the ink functionof the need and is adapted to the most uses : small or large characters, manual orautomatic marking, slow or fast.Plastic-inks is designed to print on :• porous materials (paper, carton, wood ...) on which it dries instantaneously by absorption,• mid-absorbent substrates such as glazed paper, varnished or treated metal, plastics ...Plastic-inks presents numerous advantages :• possibilities of mounting on all marking devices,• excellent results in all positions, to mark on the side, the top or the bottom of the packingcases,• no handling of liquid inks,• very long useful life ; it is function of the use conditions (characters size, length of text, kind ofsubstrate, printing rate, roller ...).TIFLEX proposes :1. Range of Plastic-inks products and their use :Thanks to the Plastic-inks, the inking becomes simple, reliable and easy to maintain.The ink diffusion on Plastic-inks remains regular. Thanks to the capillarity of the material, ink doesnot flow to the bottom of the roller and contrary to felt fibre or foam impregnated rollers.Plastic-inks can be used with a transfer drum or in direct contact with the characters. The use ofpolystyrene or styrene-derivates for the characters and the transfer drums is not recommended becausethe ink can spoil the plastic materials. For other materials, we recommend to make previous tests.In case of interruption of the production, Plastic-inks doesn't dry and functions as soon as theproduction starts again.1. Plastic-inks ink rollersThey can equip coders, devices to print small or big labels, rotary markers, some flexographicunits ... The centrifugal force doesn't cause ink projections.Plastic-inks ink rollers are available in different sizes :• outside diameter : from 9 to 66 mm• inside diameter : from 02 to 40 mm ; possibility to make full rollers• length on request
