Degree)Entertainment64 Total Credits RequiredGeneral Info -- NWFSC offers a two-year program of study leading to an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Theater & Entertainment Technologywith areas of specialization/emphasis in Acting, Costuming, Dance, Musical Theater and Technical Theater. A companion college credit certificatein Stage Technology is also available.For those who wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree in one of these or related fields of study, NWFSC provides all the prerequisite courses for the firsttwo years of a four-year degree through the Associate in Arts program of study. The A.A. degree, with an emphasis an area of the Humanities, Fineor Performing Arts, qualifies students for entry as a junior into an upper-division university program and many students who have completed such anemphasis have gone on to secure scholarships at major university programs in Dance, Theater, Arts, and more.
