The Committee agreed to make a recommendation to <strong>Council</strong> thatstaff be directed to advertise for public review/comment, proposedtext amendments to the <strong>St</strong>. John’s Development Regulations tointroduce definitions for Agricultural Tourism Operations and FarmRestaurants; to add Indoor Markets as a Permitted Use to theAgriculture Zone; and to introduce Agricultural Tourism Operationsand Farm Restaurants as Discretionary Uses in the Agriculture Zone.Upon completion <strong>of</strong> this process, the text amendments would bereferred to a future Regular Meeting <strong>of</strong> <strong>Council</strong> for consideration <strong>of</strong>adoption.b. The Committee also recommends that the application from LesterFarms Inc. for a Farm Restaurant and Agricultural TourismOperation at Civic No. 90-92 Pearltown Road be referred to a publicmeeting, to be chaired by a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>Council</strong>.
