The University of Wollongong’s new Selective Entry program (replacing the Early Entry program)opens on 1 st July and closes on 15 th August. Students can access the most up-to-date information onthe UOW Selective Entry website. The website will be the main means of communication about theSelective Entry program.Throughout the program, information will continue to be added to this website for students to referto, with the official Selective Entry Application Guide available from late May.The website also offers students the option to register for updates about this program, ensuringthey receive reminders about key dates as well as Selective Entry live chats and other updates.Students can also contact the Selective Entry team by email, however please allow three businessdays for responses. Students must meet the published criteria for a course to be eligible to apply.Students need to achieve the published marks in their year 12 half-yearly exams (or overall subjectmark if no exam is held) to meet the minimum criteria – all criteria refer to raw marks (not scaled).Once students have decided which courses they are eligible for and would like to apply to, there isnothing they need to do until 1 July <strong>2012</strong> when online applications open. In the meantime theyshould focus on their HSC preparations ensuring the best chance of a successful outcome forSelective Entry and their HSC.UOW Open Night will be held on Wednesday 27 <strong>June</strong> <strong>2012</strong> at the University of Wollongong,Wollongong campus from 4pm - 8pm. Campus tours will be run every 30min from 3pm – 4.30pm.Faculty and selective entry sessions will follow from 5pm – 7pm. This workshop will give students an insight into thebeauty industry and a taste of what ANCB is all about. Participants will learn the basics of make-up,beauty therapy procedures and spa therapy. The scholarship has also increased to $46,500 andenrolled 45 students this year.2013 UTS Engineering Scholarship applications are now open.
