MAPPYSIL CR REDescriptionThe memorable acousticinsulation material ofMAPPY ITALIAMAPPYSIL CR RE is an acoustic and thermal insulation panel composedof two self-extinguishing non-dripping polyurethane foam layers and inbetween there is an elastomeric high density barrier (EPDM). MAPPYSILCR RE is also available in an adhesive version with water-based acrylicglue, to support the installer in the laying phase and can be covered withspecial films to make it washable, and with aluminium or pierced fauxleather for exposed view applications.ApplicationsMAPPYSIL CR RE is ideal for a thermoacoustic insulation of walls andceilings using a single panel that can be easily inserted within masonrycavity walls or within the studs of drywalls (plaster, wood, magnesium) andplaced right on walls, ceilings and drop ceilings.LayingFor application inside gaps, we recommend the use of special glueMAPPYCOL S45 (page 96), or polypropylene rawlplugs. To prevent soundbridges, on horizontal and vertical joints between adjacent panels pleaseapply MAPPYTAPE TXT adhesive (page 98). In case of application withindry walls it is recommended the laying of MAPPYSIL CR RE inside thestuds of the wall or use adhesive MAPPYSIL CR RE in order to avoid theuse of glues. Within drop ceilings lean the product against the internalsurface.
