As a minimum requirement the following would be suggested;1. Product and User CharacteristicsRecord the documents, drawings or samples provided and the characteristics and play features agreedfor the toy as listed in Step 1 above.2. Applicable LegislationList the initial legislation identified including the dates and amendments where appropriate. Thelegislation could be divided by the hazard type specified in the <strong>Directive</strong> - chemical, physical,mechanical, electrical, flammability, hygiene and radioactivity hazards3. Identify remaining hazardsWhere there are remaining hazards these should be documented in as much detail as is appropriateincluding the environment of conditions that may cause the hazards.4. Are these hazards addressed elsewhere?It would be prudent to list the additional Standards (not only EU Standards), EU Guidance or industrycodes of practice that may help manage the remaining hazards against each hazard.5. Evaluate the risk of the remaining hazardsWhatever risk assessment tool is used the decisions made and the level of risk identified should berecorded.6. Reduce and Manages these HazardsWhere methods of management are determined it is suggested that these are recorded in full detailagainst the appropriate identified hazard.
