HELICOIL ® plus thread technologyThe systemThread inserts createhigh-strength fasteningsin metal low-strengthmaterials and have beenwell established on themarket for about 50years. These stainlesssteel thread inserts areformed into elastic spiralsin proven quality fromwire with rhombic profile.After installation, the tangcan be broken off at thenotch (predeterminedbreaking point) if throughholethreads shall be theresult.The newest generation of this technology iscalled "HELICOIL ® plus".Due to the optimised shape, HELICOIL ® plus is nowmuch easier to install. This is ensured by the entrywhich allows to position and screw in HELICOIL ® pluslike a screw.
