ARABIA SHRINERS & AMERICAN LEGION POST 61825 YEARS TOGETHER - HELPING OUR KIDSBy: Dale DeFoor, High Priest & ProphetThis year was the 25Th anniversary of the Willis Chili Cook-Off. Our special friends at American LegionPost 618 in Willis worked hard to make this year extra special. Before the event, they surprised us with theannouncement that they would “match” the net proceeds from the cook-off because of their concerns forour hospitals and their love of our “kids”. They raised over $10,000.00 so we thought that we were goingto receive a check for $20,000.00. We went to Willis on May 12 to present the Post with an appreciationplaque and to pick up the check. They surprised us again!
