He was preceded in death by his wife Maudie Lee Honeycutt McGee in1999.He was a Deacon and Elder of Providence Presbyterian Church and former member of the WestJohnston Volunteer Fire Department. A US Army veteran of World War II, he was a member ofAmerican Legion Banner Post @#109 in Benson and a member of the Disabled AmericanVeterans.
