HEATING DEVICESInduction coilsInduction coilsInduction coils are suitable <strong>for</strong><strong>mounting</strong> <strong>and</strong> dis<strong>mounting</strong> medium-size<strong>and</strong> large inner rings ofcylindrical roller bearings <strong>and</strong> needleroller bearings. Each bearingsize requires a special coil (see alsoFAG Publ. No. WL 80 107).Besides low-voltage inductioncoils, FAG also offers coils that canbe operated with mains voltage.Low-voltage coilsFAG induction coils that are operatedwith harmless low voltage arewater cooled. They are connectedto a mobile trans<strong>for</strong>mer which canbe designed <strong>for</strong> any mains voltage.The voltage <strong>for</strong> the <strong>mounting</strong> coilcan be adjusted between 20 <strong>and</strong>40 V.The trans<strong>for</strong>mers <strong>for</strong> the inductioncoils are offered by FAG in fivesizes (EFB20, EFB33, EFB50,EFB80, EFB125). Thus other rotationallysymmetric parts likelabyrinth rings, couplings <strong>and</strong> ringrolls can be heated as well.
