The job description, educationalqualifications/Experiences is given as under :EligibilityHaving Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics/Economics/ Statistics/Agri. Statistics havingpublished paper and post qualifications experience in the Agricultural Economics, statisticsand policy research.Experience in co-ordination of large field survey and database management would bedesirable.Experience in collection, compilation/analysis of statistical data, computer skills andpreparation of project report.Retired Government employees with (i) Grade Pay of Rs.7600 and above and & at least 10years in the required domain field would also be eligible for consultant.Terms of Reference1. To develop system for documentation, compilation, processing and analysis ofprimary and secondary data2. To support the co-ordination and implementation of the project activities in EasternIndia in consultation with Principal Investigator and Project Advisory Committee.3. To regularly interact with VDSA Project Scientist and staff based at <strong>NCAP</strong> andcollaborating research institutes in Eastern India region.4. To provide analytical expertise and guidance in the conduct of research activitieslisted under the objectives 1, 2 & 3 of the VDSA project in South Asia.5. The Senior consultant will be based at <strong>NCAP</strong>. In the process, the incumbent is expected to build agood rapport with the villagers and communicatewith them on a regular basis in locallanguages/dialects.Age limit 45 years and Age relaxations as per rules.
