Manby Estate is one of the largest woodland Estates inLincolnshire, running to a total of 985.60 acres (398.87ha), ofwhich approximately 968 acres are wooded.The Estate is located immediately to the west and north of thevillage of Broughton and is approximately six miles by road fromcentral Scunthorpe. Far Wood forms part of Lot 4 and has beendesignated as a SSSI due to its varied plant life.
