Two work products were then reviewed: Data summary charts and an <strong><strong>ICF</strong><strong>DD</strong></strong> brochure.<strong>ICF</strong>/<strong>DD</strong> Data Charts:Members reviewed and critiqued the content and presentation of the data charts. Seeattachment 1.• Technical changes were made to the documents such as removing cost data that wereincomplete.• Other suggestions included:- Create an external presentation of the data in addition to the internal data.- Update vacancy data monthly for members as well as other stakeholders (i.e.local placement coordinators, APD officials, etc.).- Include data about public <strong>ICF</strong>/<strong>DD</strong> facilities for internal purposes.Members were also encouraged to review a comparison chart on <strong><strong>ICF</strong><strong>DD</strong></strong> bed vacanciescompared to types of facility. See attachment 2.<strong>ICF</strong>/<strong>DD</strong> Brochure:• <strong>Florida</strong> <strong>ARF</strong> has created a brochure as a tool to inform consumers about <strong><strong>ICF</strong><strong>DD</strong></strong>s andthe brochure will be handed out at events such as the Family CAFÉ. See Attached pdffile. The brochure will explain that <strong><strong>ICF</strong><strong>DD</strong></strong>s are community residential alternatives andshould not be considered institutional placements.
