1992 Visitors<br />

Dr. A. DUBICKAS<br />

(Vilnius, Lithuania) Dates: Feb.\\ to Dec.\\, 1992. Dr. Dubickas is a very promising young <strong>Number</strong><br />

<strong>The</strong>orist, who was very strongly recommended to us by some outst<strong>and</strong>ing senior Russian<br />

mathematicians. He came here as a University Visiting Research Fellow <strong>for</strong> the whole of 1992,<br />

<strong>and</strong> his Fellowship was extended to 1993 as well.<br />

Prof. H. K\\"ONIG<br />

(S rbr\\"ucken, Germany) Dates: March/April, 1992. Prof. K\\"onig is a well known expert on<br />

functional analysis, whose research interests tie in particularly with those of Dr. Labuschagne.<br />

Prof. HONG CHANG LEE<br />

(Chung--Li, Taiwan) Dates: 15th June to 15th Sept., 1992. Prof. Lee is a number--theorist who<br />

visited the <strong>Centre</strong> under the auspices of the FRD s S.A.--Taiwan Scientists Exchange Programme.<br />

Prof. D. LEVIATAN<br />

(Tel Aviv, Israel) Dates: 15th June to 31st Aug.\\, 1992. Prof. Leviatan is a specialist in<br />

approximation theory who collaborated particularly with Profs. Lubinsky <strong>and</strong> Driver.<br />

Prof. M.E. MAYS<br />

(Charlottesville, Virginia, U.S.A.) Dates: 15th May to 15th June, 1992. Prof. Mays is an expert on<br />
