In a keenlycontested first half <strong>Youghal</strong> were the better team with OllieDempsey, Aidan O'Neill and Andrew Joyce playing well. In midfieldMatthew Farrell had storming game until before beingsubbed with a head injury. Mark Flaherty at center back was commandingthroughout with Chris Savage on his right putting in aman of the match performance, <strong>Youghal</strong> ended the first half 0-6 to0-2 up.The second half saw Clashmore start the brighter with two welltaken goals. Ten minutes in to the half, Bill McGrath made a greatblock down and cleared to Aidan O'Neill who picked out a greatpass to set Colin Keenaghan for a well taken point. The next 10minutes was nip and tuck between the sides until Rory Walsh wastaken down and Ollie Dempsey rattled the back of the Clashmorenet from the 21 yard line.
