It is a combinati<strong>on</strong> of factoranalysis and regressi<strong>on</strong> analysis specifying the observed variables and the unobserved/latentvariables with their errors in measurement that are not observed in many multivariate analyses. It isa family of techniques that covers factor analysis, path analysis, regressi<strong>on</strong> models, and changeanalysis.Objectives• To provide the state-of-the-art knowledge in SEM.• To familiarize the participants with the usage of applicati<strong>on</strong>-softwares.• To equip the teachers and researchers with the desired skills to handle complex researchmodels using SEMEligibilityParticipants should be familiar with SPSS.PedagogyThe pedagogy would include lecturer, discussi<strong>on</strong>, dem<strong>on</strong>strati<strong>on</strong>, and hands-<strong>on</strong>-experience incomputers.
