The marchwas led by the Founders of CMS andrenowned educationists Mr JagdishGandhi and Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi.The huge 'World Unity March' beganin the morning on both days fromPurani Chungi, Kanpur Road andWorld Unity March to stop any more turned into a huge gathering onHiroshimas and Nagasakis reaching at CMS Kanpur Roadauditorium, where the Founder-Manager of CMS and the staunch adherent of World Unity, Mr Jagdish Gandhi,addressed the students.Twelve meritorious students of CMS,Kanpur Road were honoured with'Science Student Award' for theirexemplary knowledge in differentsubjects by the Science and Technologyof Uttar Pradesh. These meritoriousstudents of CMS won this award forgetting cent percent marks in variousMr R.N. At the 4th sub-junior national softtennis championship held at Dewas, M.P.from 24 to 28 May organised by AmateurSoft Tennis Federation of India, Ayushi wonthe first prize in team event, 2nd prize inindividual singles and 3rd prize in thedoubles event.On Independence Day, Inter-housespeech competition, patriotic group songcompetition greeting card designcompetition and Class-wise drawingcompetition were organized to mark theoccasion. Peace House was the winner ofgroup song competition while SakshamAgarwal of Love house won the first prizein inter house speech contest and KashiSaxena of Hope House won the first prize ingreeting card competition.
