New version of Telekurs FinXL
Use SIX Telekurs data and build your very own tools in Excel
It is true to say that every financial professional

use. Telekurs FinXL, an add-in tool within Telekurs
iD, supports this task by linking the SIX Telekurs
data with the functions of the spreadsheet tool
Microsoft Excel. It allows a smooth and consistent
use of all the information on nearly 8 million
financial instruments by creating individual Excel
spreadsheets. Thanks to the recent update to version
1.2, Telekurs FinXL makes the daily work of financial
professionals even easier.

Telekurs FinXL is part of the dynamic link solutions
in Telekurs iD, which were rolled out in April 2010.
Fully integrated within Excel, it allows you to insert
and edit real time data functions (GetQuote), historical
data snapshots (GetHisto and GetSnap), interpolated
rate calculations (CalcRate) and from version 1.2 onwards
the new function CalcBond for yield-oriented
calculations. These functions run exactly as native
Excel functions do.
Telekurs FinXL is user-friendly and comprehensive,
even for those who are not Excel experts. With Telekurs
FinXL, you can access prices and historical data
while working in Microsoft Excel. The tool provides
easy and direct access to the extensive data provided
by SIX Telekurs. It enables you to process this data
immediately, using many of the functions found in
Microsoft Excel, and to manage Excel tables quickly
and easily.

What’s new in Telekurs FinXL 1.2?
The new «CalcBond» function offers customized actuarial
calculations on any fixed, zero coupon, perpetual
and callable bonds.
The new wildcard «Most Liquid Market Place» avoids
you to indicate a BC code to get information from
the most liquid trading place of an instrument. Two
immediate advantages:
– whenever you are not sure of the most liquid
trading place, but want to be sure to get
consistent quotes.
– whenever you look for reference data only and
do not care about the market place.
