down the mountain on the three popular freeride routes, the Runca Trail<br />

10. DAKINE TRAILFOX<br />

22. – 24.6.<strong>2012</strong>, Sport centre Prau la Selva<br />

Ten years of Trailfox <strong>Flims</strong> - the anniversary edition of the mother of all freeride<br />

rallies is coming up. The foxes race at top speed through the undergrowth in<br />

<strong>Flims</strong>. Three spectacular stages and a crazy show stage offer riders and spectators<br />

an extraordinary, thrilling and adrenaline-charged bike weekend. As well<br />

as prize money, fame and honour, there will also be a party. A lavish celebration<br />

of the tenth birthday of this freeride event will start in the evening and continue<br />

weekend. Prize-giving ceremony followed by a barbecue at the valley station<br />

round off the event.<br />

In <strong>Flims</strong> village, turn right in the direction of Foppa at Hotel<br />

Bellevue. Then head in the direction of Startgels, the highest<br />

point on the route. From here, forest roads take you back to<br />

<strong>Flims</strong>. Families are advised to take the chair lift to Foppa.<br />

The route through <strong>Flims</strong> forest offers stunning views into the<br />

Upper Rhine Gorge. Perfect viewpoints and eateries are<br />

available in Conn.<br />

From Staderas, in the direction of Conn, past Lake Cauma and<br />

onto Trin Digg, before making a short ascent to Trin Porclis. It<br />

goes back to the Felsbach Gorge and alongside Lake Cresta,<br />

through the forest towards <strong>Flims</strong>. Bathing and refreshments<br />

are available at Lake Cresta. You can also take the bike shuttle<br />

from Trin Mulin.<br />

The route takes a left turn in the direction of Fidaz at <strong>Flims</strong> village<br />

post offi ce. A mountain route on an asphalt road leads to the remote<br />

the Bargis High Valley. From here, the Alpine road continues<br />

up the wonderful mountain valley to Alp Rusna.<br />

BONADUZER WALD 256 webcode b256<br />

The route starts at the car park near Bonaduz and continues through<br />

the unspoilt forest. The ascent begins in Tuleu. A single trail then<br />

takes you down into the Versamer Ravine. The ride through the Versamer<br />

Ravine and the Rhine Gorge gives a spectacular view into the<br />

„Swiss Grand Canyon“. Enjoy the view from both viewing platforms,<br />

„Spitg“ and „Zault“.<br />
