Keefe showedoff her many talents with party favor diapers shemade from paper towels and wax. This was a first of amonthly series of “Cool Events for the Entire Family” sponsoredby the Recre<strong>at</strong>ion Department.The gym was transformed into a roller rink, togetherwith colored lights, music and a live DJ. In addition, there Let’s roll!Nery Mejicanowas face painting, contests and prizes for those <strong>at</strong>tending andrefreshments and food. The kids and parents had a gre<strong>at</strong> timeand hope to continue to see more of these events.Programs such as these help provide healthy structured and supervised altern<strong>at</strong>ives to families andtheir children closer to home.
