Multi-Use ArenaQUEEN ELIZABETH OLYMPIC PARK www.londonlegacy.co.uk/corporate-events4The Olympic Multi-Use Arena isnow London’s third-largest arena,with a 6,000 capacity.This will be expandable to 7,500 forconferences and trade shows and will beable to seat 2,000 people for banquets,gala dinners and concerts.It was built for the London 2012 Olympicand Paralympic Games, where it becameaffectionately known as the ‘CopperBox’, producing an incredible atmospherethanks to its intimacy and acoustics.It was used to stage several sports,including handball, the fencing element ofthe Modern Pentathlon and the Goalballcompetition in the Paralympics.Located on the west side of the QueenElizabeth Olympic Park, it will open in thesummer 2013 and is expected to hosta wide range of indoor sports trainingand competitions as well as cultural andbusiness events.
