Chaqueéquipe a choisi pour thème uneville bien connue. C’est ainsi que le14 e Escadron de maintenance aériennereprésente Rome, le 413 e Escadron LasVegas et le service de Logistique et degénie de l’Escadre Paris, que le « St.John’s Trio » - 14 e Escadron de génielogiciel, 404 e Escadron et Opérationsde l’Escadre - défendra les couleursde St. John’s, et l’équipe « LRP Luau »(405 e Escadron et Unité maritime d’essaiset d’évaluation) celles d’Honolulu.Le service d’administration de l’Escadrereprésentera Tokyo cette année.Le défi décoration de tables organisélors de la soirée de lancement a été lapremière activité qui permettait auxéquipes de gagner des points et quicomptait pour le classement généraldu carnaval d’hiver. Ungros succès pour cette soirée, d’où tousles membres sont sortis prêts pour lecarnaval proprement dit, qui aura lieudu 28 février au 2 mars.Les tournois de hockey et de curlingdu carnaval ont commencé le <strong>25</strong> février,avec trois jours d’avance sur les principalesactivités du carnaval, qui serontlancées avec le concours de lip synchau mess, le 28 février. Les activités surl’ensemble de la base s’enchaîneronttout au long de la journée du 1 er mars :Revanche du commandant de l’Escadre,peinture sur glace, crud et blow ball,sans oublier les résultats du concoursde barbes du mois de février. Au mess,à 21 h, une danse sera animée par legroupe <strong>The</strong> Persuaders.
