GST) will be provided to continue your journey to your homeaddress or intended destination in the same city.Caravan or TrailerIf you are travelling with a caravan or trailer, BMW Roadside Assistance will arrangefor it to be towed to a safe place until you and the vehicle are ready to resume yourjourney.Away from Home coverBMW Roadside Assistance ‘Away from Home’ cover includes Accommodation,Car rental and vehicle relocation entitlements and only comes into effectwhere a breakdown occurs more than 70kms from your primary home addressand the vehicle is expected to be disabled for a period longer than 24 hours.Accommodation and car rental benefits cease once the vehicle has been repaired.AccommodationAccommodation will be provided for up to four nights to a value of $200.00 perperson per night (incl. GST).Car RentalCar rental will be provided in conjunction with accommodation for a maximumperiod of three days. Alternatively, should accommodation not be required, thecar rental period can be extended to a maximum of five days. The vehicle normallysupplied will be a two wheel drive family sedan or wagon.20
Vehicle RelocationOnce repaired, your vehicle will be transported to your home address or intendeddestination, where the distance between your current location and the repairingdealer is greater than 70kms. Where appropriate, the driver may be supplied withtransport to collect the repaired vehicle from the authorised BMW dealer. Vehicletransportation will be via normal bulk road transport.Alternative Transport AssistanceShould hotel accommodation or a rental vehicle be unavailable following aBreakdown more than 70 kilometres from your home and the Vehicle is immobilisedfor more than 24 hours, alternative transport will be provided for the driver andup to four passengers travelling in the vehicle to return home or to their intendeddestination to a maximum of $300.00 (incl. GST).Emergency PartsIf you have decided to have the vehicle repaired locally rather than transported, andnecessary spare parts are not available locally, BMW Roadside Assistance will assistin locating and transferring the parts to the repairer.Trip TrackingFor remote travelling only, BMW Roadside Assistance will provide trip tracking.Prior to departure, call BMW Roadside Assistance to log your intended route anddestinations.Throughout your journey, BMW Roadside Assistance will track your progress.BMW Accident ManagementBMW Accident Management is available if you have an accident. Should you requireassistance call, the BMW Accident Management toll free number, 1800 808 111 toreport the incident and record the details.BMW Accident Management includes the following:Medical Advice and ReferralBMW Accident Management provides you and your passengers with telephoneaccess to emergency medical advice at the scene of an accident. Please note:all costs associated with this service are your responsibility.Accident Assist at the Scene of the AccidentIn the case of an accident, BMW Accident Management will provide the followingservices where required:• Arrange attendance of relevant emergency services Ambulance, Police,Fire Brigade,• Advise you not to admit liability,21
