ECONOMIC IMPACTThe economic outputs for <strong>the</strong> project, both <strong>in</strong> short-term construction terms and long-termsusta<strong>in</strong>able terms are significant. These are anticipated be<strong>in</strong>g achieved over <strong>the</strong> 25 years <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>itiative and assume completion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> developments planned. The estimates havebeen <strong>in</strong>formed by <strong>the</strong> development and sectoral mix identified <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Upper ForthDevelopment Framework. It will aid <strong>the</strong> attraction <strong>of</strong>tourists to <strong>the</strong> area (<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g 300,000 visitors expected annually at <strong>the</strong> Helix) and will aidtown centre regeneration.
