During the 4 month GP post, F2s willexperience a full range of training experiences including GPsurgeries and home visits.Fulwell Medical CentreDr Sue Blake, Dr Pauline JosenSeeing patients in the GP surgery, mixture of pre-booked andsame-day appointments. Usually 20 min appointmentsstarting with 4 per session gradually increasing to 8 persession depending on the individual situation. All sessionssupervised (named GP available for each session if neededduring and to review cases at the end). Exposure to very widerange of acute and chronic conditions and presentations.Opportunity to do home visits if wanted but not requirement ofthe placement. Opportunity to do practical procedures,including some minor surgery.
