Directions for The James Cook University Hospital TS4 3BWFrom A19 North and SouthboundTurn off the A19 at the junction marked A174 – take the direction markedTeesport and Whitby.Turn off the A174 at the third junction marked A172 Middlesbrough Centreand Stokesley – turn left onto the A172 heading towards MiddlesbroughCentre.Go straight across at the first major set of traffic lights (large crossroad) andcontinue for about half a mile until you see The James Cook UniversityHospital on the right-hand side.Turn into the main entry road to The James Cook University Hospital andfollow car park signs.From A66 EastboundHead for Middlesbrough and turn off at the A172 – Middlesbrough Centre andStokesley Road.Turn right at the roundabout onto the A1085 – The James Cook UniversityHospital will be signposted.At the next roundabout bear left and then left again onto Marton Road.Go straight on until you reach another roundabout with shops on the left-handside.Continue straight ahead, passing through two sets of traffic lights. The JamesCook University Hospital is on the left-hand side.Turn into the main entry road to The James Cook University Hospital andfollow the car park signs.Westbound (from Redcar/East Cleveland)Head for Middlesbrough and turn off at the A171 (Cargo Fleet Lane). Carry onuntil you reach a crossroads with a set of traffic lights.Turn right at the lights onto the A1085 heading for Middlesbrough.Go through another set of traffic lights and go straight ahead until you reach aroundabout. Continue straight ahead.At the next roundabout bear left and then left again onto Marton Road.Go straight on until you reach another roundabout with shops on the left-handside.Continue straight ahead, passing through two sets of traffic lights. The JamesCook University Hospital is on the left-hand side.Turn into the main entry road to The James Cook University Hospital andfollow the car park signs.Once on the Hospital site please look for The Academic Centre, this islocated behind the Spinal Injuries Unit, to locate drive or walk in betweenthe Spinal Injuries Unit and the Holistic Centre (round building). There is abarrier on the Academic Centre car park.If you are a lecturer and have been advised that I have reserved a parkingspace for you; at the security barrier please press the buzzer and informsecurity you are lecturing here and a space is booked for you. Oncethrough the barrier take the second turn on the left and use one of the first2 parking spaces on the right.
