<strong>Pressure</strong> <strong>Relief</strong> <strong>Flaps</strong>IntroductionModel D-PRFDuct Mounting <strong>Pressure</strong> <strong>Relief</strong> FlapA functional range of aluminiumdampers available from Actionair, theModel D-PRF duct mounting pressurerelief flap and the Model G-PRF wallmounting pressure relief flap.The Model D-PRF incorporates a ductmounting flanged frame for eithervertical or horizontal mounting and issuitable for low velocity, low pressuresystems.Model G-PRF is designed with a grillestyle flange for vertical mounting onlyand is suitable for low velocity, lowpressure applications.Each damper is constructed fromaluminium extrusions and aluminiumsections with nylon bushes andneoprene seals fitted to the pressurerelief flaps.Both models of pressure relief flaps mayhave additional weights fitted to theblades whilst the Model D-PRF is alsoavailable with linked blades to provide auniform operation.DescriptionModel D-PRF is suitable for use in lowpressure, low velocity applications andmay be mounted vertically or horizontally.Blades are fitted with free running nylonbushes to operate at minimum pressure.Each blade is also fitted with neopreneedge seals, for uniform operation theblades can be linked, also adjustableblade weights can be added. A matchingtwin frame may also be provided toensure the blades are not obstructed andopen within the extended casing.Minimum size is 150mm x 150mm andmaximum single section is 2000mm x2000mm. Note: a mullion is fitted forsizes over 1000mm. Bladesare fitted with free running nylon bushes tooperate at minimum pressure. Each bladeis also fitted with neoprene edge seals. Amatching flange and adjustable bladeweights are available on request.Minimum size is 100mm x 100mm andmaximum single section is 1800mm x1200mm.
