Full factory support <strong>and</strong>after sales service for the <strong>CFS</strong> <strong>1200</strong> System isprovided on a global basis by a team of dedicatedengineers <strong>and</strong> technicians.With our state-of-the-art Development Center,<strong>Capsugel</strong> also offers a complete array of SupportServices for liquid formulations.<strong>Sealing</strong> Process• The <strong>CFS</strong> <strong>1200</strong> System utilizes <strong>Capsugel</strong>’s patented LiquidEncapsulated Microspray <strong>Sealing</strong> (LEMS®) technology.• As the water/ethanol microspray solution penetrates thecap <strong>and</strong> body, the melting point is lowered in the sealingarea of the capsule. <strong>Capsugel</strong> supplies Licaps® capsules,which are specially designed to prevent liquid leakage priorto sealing.• Air heated to 40 – 60° C is gently blown across the capsuleto complete the melting <strong>and</strong> fusion of the body <strong>and</strong> cap.• The setting <strong>and</strong> hardening is often accomplished overnightin open trays, <strong>and</strong> is completed while the product returnsto room temperature.
