Section 4 Miscellaneous EnhancementsMiscellaneous(#38119)The new Pre-Institutional Hours section displays pre-institutional hours on astudent’s Web transcript. If the user selects All Levels in the Transcript Level fieldon the Academic Transcript Options page (bwskotrn.P_ViewTermTran), then preinstitutionalhours for all levels are displayed as a single total. Delivered in Release6.2.MiscellaneousbwslxmisbwskxxxxThis enhancement is for Concurrent Curricula and applies only to institutions usingCalifornia MIS reporting. When a student changes a major via Self-Service, thesystem calls the BWSKXMIS package and the auto-conversion process,soklcur.p_convert_curriculum, is run automatically. If the student currently hasonly 6.x curriculum data (that is, no one has run the conversion process and no onehas gone to any of the SRARECR, SRAQUIK, SAAADMS, SAAQUIK, SGASTDN,SFAREGS, and SHADEGR forms for the student), then when the student accessesthe Update Student Term Data page, the system automatically converts the existingdata so that it uses the new SORLCUR and SORLFOS tables. If the student makesany changes while in this Web page (for example, changes the major), that changewill be made in the new tables and will be backfilled to the old curriculum fields (inthis case, on the SGBSTDN table).
