7. <strong>PT</strong>PlateRackThecomponentsrequiredtoassemblea<strong>PT</strong>PlateRacktargetincludethefollowing:-Twosetsof<strong>PT</strong>feet-Two4'<strong>PT</strong>Stands-SixHeadswithstopbracket-Oneleaverarm-Oneleverlink-Elevenbolts-Elevenlocknuts-Twenty-sixwashersToolsNeeded:Socketwrenches(two3/4")Assemblethefeet tothestands.Eachstandrequirestwofeet.Bolt thefeet toeachstandusing(2)1/2-13x1.75hexbolts,(4)1/2flatwashers,and(2)1/2-13stovernuts.Thisshouldbedoneonaflatsurface.Thefeetshouldbolttotheendofthestandthathastwobentedges.BoltthestandstothePlateRackusing(2)1/2-13x1.5hexbolts,(4)1/2flatwashers,and(2)1/2-13stovernutsforeachstand.Seebothfigures.NotethatitwillbeeasiesttolaythestandassembliesonthegroundperpendiculartothePlateRackandboltthestandstothePlateRackwhilestillontheground.ItisnotrecommendedtotryandboltthePlateRacktothestandswhileholdingthePlateRackintheair.OncethestandshavebeencorrectlyfastenedtothePlateRackandtheboltstightenedproperly,usingtwoormorepersons,liftthePlateRackslowlyuntilstanding.FastentheleverarmtothePlateRackasshownin"DetailB"ofthefigure.NotethatthehardwareisalreadyattachedtothePlateRackleverarmbracketandlinkage.Makesurethereisaflatwasherbetweeneachcontactsurface.Tightenthestovernutscompletely,thenbackthemoffjustenoughthattheleverarmandlinkagedoesnotbind.Theleverarm/resetmechanismshouldmovesmoothlyandeasilywhenpulled.Thelaststepistoattachthe30'pullcabletotheleverarm.Uncoilthecableandattachoneendtotheholelocatedatthebottomoftheleverarmusingthesupplied3/16"chainlinkscrewlock.Oncealloftheheadplateshavebeenknockeddown,simplypullonthecabletoresettheheadsbacktoverticalposition.Aftershooting2000roundsonthePlateRack,youshouldreversetheplatestoavoiddeformation.Todothis,simplyremovetheretainingbarsoneachendofthePlateRack.Youcanthenremoveeachplateanditsretainingbrackets.Removetheplatefromthebracketsandflipitaround(donotflipthebrackets).Reinsertandreassembleinreverseorder.ACTIONTARGET•POBOX636•PROVO,UT84603 •801-377-8033 •WWW.ACTIONTARGET.COM 15
