Lieutenant Colonel Alexander’s outstanding leadership andinterpersonal skills contributed to maximum outcomes in the personnel and logistics activitiesof the Brigade.Sergeant Thomas Kevin BAUER, QldFor meritorious achievement as a forward repair team leader and maintenancemanager with Timor-Leste Aviation Group XII on Operation ASTUTE from October2009 to February 2010.Sergeant Bauer is an outstanding individual whose superior trade knowledge, dedication andleadership skills directly resulted in a reliable aircraft fleet in East Timor. His leadership anddedication inspired his peers and directly contributed to the ongoing availability of Black Hawkaircraft for Joint Task Force 631 tasking. His efforts made a considerable contribution to thecontinuous availability of night aero-medical evacuation capability in East Timor.Warrant Officer Class One Gregory Lance BOBBIN, QldFor meritorious achievement as the Operator Administrative Technical Manager forHeadquarters 3rd Brigade.Warrant Officer Bobbin has demonstrated exceptional dedication in his role at Headquarters3rd Brigade. His devotion to duty and his exemplary commitment to the attainment of bestpractice in personnel administration have ensured a high level of personnel readiness acrossthe 3rd Brigade, assisted by his extremely valuable refinements to the Unit AdministrativeAdvisory Check and his development of administrative personnel. His professionalism anddedication have been instrumental to the operational effectiveness of the 3rd Brigade.Corporal Phillip Gregory BULL, QldFor meritorious achievement as the Manager Command Support Systems,Headquarters Joint Task Force 631 on Operation ASTUTE in East Timor from May2009 to February 2010.Corporal Bull, through his dedication, technical expertise in information technology andtelecommunications, greatly enhanced information flows, command and control and welfaresupport on Operation ASTUTE.
