Transients detectionFor cat4 a systematic search for any sources detected in a timescalelength ranging from 0.5d up to the full lenght of the created light curve inthe 18-60 keV band.“Bursticity” of a source is defined as the ratio of the maximumsignificance on any timescale, compared to the significance defined forthe whole data set.In the figure we show the distribution of high bursticity sources from the4th IBIS catalog. It clear how the vast majority of the transient systemsare located within 15 degrees of the Galactic Plane.See next talk of M.Fiocchi…
