Increasing Added Valuewith INSPIRE and SDI ComponentsINSPIREIn 2007, the European Commission issued directive2007/2/EC, which deals with the establishmentof an “Infrastructure for Spatial Informationin Europe“, or INSPIRE, for short. Its purpose isto create a uniform spatial database for Europe,that can be accessed via geoservices.
