TERMS AND CONDITIONS1. Applicability of Permita) This Permit applies only to the vehicle(s) listed in Schedule “A” of this Permit.b) The Permit Holder owns the vehicle(s) listed in Schedule “A” of this Permit.2. Maximum Permit LengthAn escort vehicle will not be required for overall length of the vehicle combination described inSchedule A, up to a length of 28.5 meters. A rear escort vehicle will be required when the overalllength exceeds 28.5 meters.3. Vehicle/Vehicles Inspection/safety, insurance <strong>and</strong> registration requirementsThe <strong>permit</strong> holder shall at all times:a) Maintain a valid Periodic Motor Vehicle Inspection (PMVI) decal for the vehicle(s) listedin Schedule “A” <strong>and</strong> display a PMVI decal on each vehicle(s).b) Maintain valid registration for the vehicle(s) operated under this <strong>permit</strong>.c) Maintain insurance coverage for the vehicle(s) that meets or exceeds the minimumestablished under the Yukon Motor Vehicles Act.4. Suspension of the PermitThe <strong>permit</strong> will be suspended, <strong>and</strong> the <strong>permit</strong> holder notified in writing of the suspension, when itis demonstrated that the <strong>permit</strong> holder is in <strong>non</strong>-compliance with:Requirements relating to vehicle(s) inspection/safety, or insurance or registration as set out in this<strong>permit</strong>.5. Reinstatement of PermitThe <strong>permit</strong> may be reinstated once the <strong>permit</strong> holder can demonstrate that the:Vehicle(s) inspection/safety, insurance <strong>and</strong> registration requirements in Section 3 of this Permithave been met.6. Offense to operate at lengths in excess of the maximum overall length established by this<strong>permit</strong>.a) It is an offense to operate a vehicle(s) under this <strong>permit</strong> with a length that exceeds themaximum overall length authorized by this Permit without an escort vehicle at the rear.b) A fine may be assessed under the Summary Conviction Regulations for this offense.7. Cancellation of the PermitThe Minister may cancel this <strong>permit</strong> for repeated suspensions of the <strong>permit</strong> for <strong>non</strong>-compliancewith <strong>permit</strong> conditions.8. Sale of a vehicle(s) or permanent removal from the Roada) When the vehicle(s) is sold or permanently removed from the road, the Permit Holder shallimmediately notify the Manager, Carrier Compliance, Transport Services Branch inwriting.b) The Permit is not transferable.2


9.
