BUSINESS RECRUITMENT
Aurora Helps to Attract German
CENTA Corporation, a U. S.
Aurora,” said Aurora Mayor Thomas
J. Weisner. “Our ample workforce,
transportation access and quality of
life remain big attractions for
companies.”
The company anticipates that
two years after opening its facility in
Aurora, it will increase its employee
workforce from 11 to 22. The build
out of the new facility will cost more
Aurora to cede unused Bond Volume
Cap Allocation in order for it to
issue tax-exempt Industrial Revenue
Bonds to provide permanent
financing for the acquisition and
build-out of the facility.
“The AEDC worked with the
company and its consultants, Carroll
Financial Group, Inc. to present a
plan to cede the Bond Volume Cap,”
said Sherman L. Jenkins, Executive
Director of the city’s Economic
Development Commission (AEDC).
