If youtake a short break and then return to the idea, you may find it easier to drop apoor idea and to improve a good idea further. The subconscious mind is a powerfultool for researching and improving half-baked ideas.Another recurring comment is that it feels odd to just start being innovativeand creative using a method. To many people getting new ideas is a random thing;something that cannot be planned or scheduled. I agree that many ideas seem tocome out of the blue when you least expect it. Indeed the main ideas in SIRL andEssence came to me like this. Still I believe that facilitating creative and innovativework among a team of people can be useful. In particular I hope that Essencewill be used on demand more than on schedule. I hope that Essence will be somethingthat a team will use whenever there is a moment of creativity in the project.There may be moments, that are planned, but there will hopefully be many momentswhere the occasion calls for using some of the principles, tools and techniquesin Essence. Essence tools and techniques should be part of the teams toolboxand Essence principles should be second nature to the team members.Good luckiv
