<strong>Port</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Seattle</strong> Moorage Tariff No. 6 – Effective 05/01/09(2) RegistrationTribal vessels shall register and show pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> tribal affiliation upon arrival atBell Harbor Marina.(3) MoorageActive tribal fishing vessels shall be exempt from moorage fees during thetribal fishing season only. Moorage for tribal fishing vessels is limited todesignated areas <strong>of</strong> Dock T unless authorized by Bell Harbor MarinaManagement. Inactive tribal fishing vessels may be subject to mooragecharges.End <strong>of</strong> Section, return to General IndexSECTION THREE, PART 1 – DEFINITIONSApplying at Fishermen’s Terminal and Maritime Industrial Center OnlyITEM 3100DEFINITIONS(A) ACTIVE FISHING VESSELA vessel which is registered or documented for “Fishery” and is engaged in a bonafide commercial fishing operation under one (1) or more valid licenses, which mayinclude, but are not limited to, a current season fishing license, current season fishtickets, landing permits, or other pro<strong>of</strong> to establish fishing activity. Vessel must berigged for licensed fishery (or fisheries).(B) CHARTER VESSELSCharter vessels are defined as commercial vessels used or designed for thetransport <strong>of</strong> passengers, whether for pr<strong>of</strong>it or non-pr<strong>of</strong>it.(C) COMMERCIAL VESSELAny vessel that is used for purposes other than enjoyment, sport, leisure orpleasure, including but not limited to fishing vessels that do not meet Fishermen’sTerminal criteria for active fishing vessels, loading or unloading <strong>of</strong> freight, chartering<strong>of</strong> boat from which fish is taken for personal use, any use involving research ordevelopment <strong>of</strong> underwater resources, any use that has the primary purpose <strong>of</strong>generating marine dependent retail or other pr<strong>of</strong>it for the owner or operator <strong>of</strong> thevessel. Subject to Note.Note:At Fishermen’s Terminal only, bare boat charters, timeshares, and othercommercially owned vessels used for the operator’s recreational purposeare defined as non-commercial vessels (See Item 3100(B))26 <strong>of</strong> 44
