Get your group leader to helpyou collect money with our sponsorship form.Tell the worldMake sure your friends, your mums, your dads, yourgrannies, your granddads know what you’re planning.Use the event posters or design your own. Get your groupleader to tell your local radio station or newspaper and askany famous people where you live to help.The more people who know what you’re doing, the moremoney you’ll raise.On the big dayDecorate your venue with some Red Nose Day posters(see pages 8-9) and some balloons.Stick stickers on everyone (see page10).Have a monster massive amount of fun!

4MONSTER FUN IDEASEat Something Funny For MoneyMake some delicious cakes and biscuits at home or atyour youth club. You can get all gooey, lick the bowl andsell your yummy treats to friends and family, making sureyou’ve checked if it is o.k. with your group leader first.EmmaCub grub6th Southgate Cub Scout Pack made cakes and biscuits anddecorated them Red Nose style. They then invited parentsto a Red Nose Day tea party and raised a tasty £49.73!

5 MORE MONSTER FUN IDEASStage Something Funny For MoneyIf you love singing or putting on plays in your bedroom,then do it for Red Nose Day. Have a few rehearsals andyour group can sell tickets to everyone you know.Wear Something Funny For MoneyCome to your meeting as a superhero, your favouriteanimal or what you want to be when you grow up.Or you could get everyone to simply dress in red. Makesure everyone pays a little bit to dress up.Red Nose gamesCharge your friends to play games all evening. You could tryto juggle with our three monster Red Noses or use them asmini footballs.Musical Noses – pass the Nose until the music stops.If you are caught with the Red Nose then you’re out.Have a small prize for the winner.Nose apple bobbing – try and get an apple in your mouthwith a monster on your nose.Red Nose chocolate game – Sit in a circle and pass a dice.Once someone rolls a six they put on a coat, scarf, gloves and aRed Nose and try to eat the chocolate with a knife and fork. Theykeep eating till some other lucky person gets a six and takes over.
