Press ReleaseFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday 6 August 2012Fellowship for hospital physicianA Lincolnshire radiologist has been awarded a rare fellowship in recognition ofhis work in education.Consultant radiologist and nuclear medicine physician Dr Tauseef Ashraf hasrecently been awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians andSurgeon of Glasgow FRCP (Glasg).Dr Ashraf has been a consultant with United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust forfour years and is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Leicester University, amember of the Royal College of Physicians, London and a Fellow of the RoyalCollege of Radiologists, London.Dr Ashraf is the only radiologist at the Trust to be awarded fellowship of theRoyal College of Physicians in ULHT.His contribution to education has been recognised by the Royal College as DrAshraf has made a significant commitment to undergraduate and post graduateeducation in radiology.Dr Ashraf also put together and organised a national chest ultrasound day coursein Pilgrim Hospital, Boston with CME approved by the Royal college ofPhysicians in London.
