...for highest demandsOne for allApplications<strong>ProcessLine</strong> electrodes are low maintenance sensors for heavy duty process applications, as theyare especially present in the chemical industry.They are ideally suitable for measuring media with extreme ionic strength - whether boiler feedwater or brine - also in strongly oxidizing acid and alkali containing media.The <strong>ProcessLine</strong> electrodes’ special design with regard to accuracy, stability, rapidness and durabilityis very close to the one of liquid electrolyte electrodes, although the <strong>ProcessLine</strong> doesnot require refilling the electrolytes and its complex pressure sequence regulation. Thereforethe <strong>ProcessLine</strong> electrodes require only low-maintenance, including calibration and adjustingefforts, hence offering a high potential for cost savings.Duralid solid electrolyte with high contentof KCl and special formulationThe solid reference electrolyte Duralid does not requirea special diaphragm – the reference system holdsa direct contact to the measuring media via the twoopen connections. This minimizes the risk of contamination/blockage of the diaphragm – the main sourcefor measuring failures and even outfall – and guaranteeslong durability and high accuracy.The long lifetime and small liqiuid junction potentialresulting in high accuracy measurements of the<strong>ProcessLine</strong> elctrodes is based on the special formulaand fabrication of the Duralid electrolyte:■ High content of the conductivity salt potassiumchloride in polymer and therefore high electrolyteoutput into the measuring media, reduces the interferencesof the measurement through diffusionpotentials between the junction of reference electrodeand measuring media.■ The special distribution of the potassium chloridein the Duralid polymer counteracts positivelyagainst a reduced durability of the referencesystem, by releasing a high quantity of electrolytes.This special attribute given by the Duralid, doesnot only improve the durability and the responsecharacteristic, it also enables stable measuring values– even under most difficult conditions such aschanging flow rate/ rotational frequency of stirreror with measurements in organic solvents.Cushion for pressure compensation inthe reference electrodePressure and temperature fluctuations can easily bemanaged by the <strong>ProcessLine</strong> electrodes due to theintegrated pressure compensation cushion insidethe reference electrode.Reliable H membrane glassBesides the reference electrode, also the measuringelectrode is of great importance regardingrapidness and accuracy of the measurement. Theglass electrode of the <strong>ProcessLine</strong> series features aH membrane glass, a very high-quality and approvedspecial glass. It excels by its high-temperatureapplication range and very low alkaline errors.The special ball shape enables an optimal membraneresistance of 300 MOhm and ensures an easycleaning.
